All Kinds Of Banana Pancakes Awesome Weekend!

This Weekend was just flippin' awesome! This is going to be a long post because of just the ridiculousness of this weekend. So, Friday afternoon i'm sitting at home, a little bummed because i didn't think i was going to get to see Megan that night. Well, I got a text about 5 from Megan asking if i wanted to come over. Of course I said yes, I was pretty excited about it. SO, I get there and it turns out we are hanging out with pretty much all of Megan's family. Her Mom and Stepdad, Her brother Gabe, and Her two sisters Heather and Marsha and their kids and Heathers husband Kyle. It was pretty much a typical family thing until Heather started talking about going to a haunted house. After a long discussion, it was decided that Me, Megan, Gabe, and Heather would go to Arx Mortis in Killen, Alabama. So, off we went! Monster energy drinks in hand and me driving us. Killen, Alabama is only about 40 minutes from Megan's house, but it took us 2 hours to get there. You see, we kinda sorta took a wrong turn and as we were driving and getting stalked by a giant Fed-Ex truck, we started to wonder if we were going the right way. Luckily, the monster kicked in and we all had to pee really badly so we stopped off at this sketchy little chevron in the middle of nowhere. In this gas station was a big iranian who told us that we were apparently only about 10 minutes away from the mississippi border. We were 40 miles away from Killen! We had come the complete opposite direction we were supposed to go! We would not give up though. We jumped back in my car and raced off towards Killen. We were determined to get there on time. Florence, Alabama is confusing. The road we were supposed to follow dropped us off in the middle of the ghetto and when i hit a small curb, Megan screamed because she thought she had been shot. We finally made it out of Florence after about 15 illegal U-turns and finally after almost 2 hours of driving we found Arx Mortis! The line was long and Megan and Heather had to use the bathroom, but all they had were pitch black porta potties. After realizing that Gabe's suggestion of using his ipod's camera light was probably a bad idea they just toughed it out and pee'd in the dark. After a long wait in line and some funny thoughts about that poor iranian gas station man, we finally were called up as it was our turn to Arx Mortis. Now this is where my memory gets kind of blurry. You see, according to Megan I was at the back and was screaming like a girl at every single thing that jumped out and chased me. She would also tell you that i mistook her shoes for rocks as I stepped on them over and over again all night. Thats a total lie. I totally braved it out and was tough and fearless in the face of all those people trying to kill me! okay not really, Megan is right.....I screamed like a little girl....but it was fun! :) After that we made it back home around 2 a.m. It was a truely epic night but this weekend was only just beginning....Saturday Morning we woke up and got ready for a amazing day at Youthquake 2011! We got there at 11 on saturday morning so we could be as close to the stage as possible. We saw some of our favorites in concert. Like Skillet, Manafest, Kj-52, and Disciple :) It was an amazing day! We rocked out all day and all night and ended the night with Megan on my shoulders rocking to Skillet :)

It was an amazing weekend <3 I Love Megan so so much!
